26. gajābhyāṁ saṁprayuktābhyāmāsīnnaḍavanaṁ yathā ,

vimardaḥ karṇabhīmābhyāmāsīcca paramo raṇe.

26.
O Bhārata, in the battle, the great army became like a reed thicket (destroyed) by two fiercely engaged elephants. Indeed, there was a supreme devastation in the conflict caused by Karṇa and Bhīma.
