महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-113, verse-13

नूनं पार्थार्थमेवास्मान्मोहयन्ति दिवौकसः ।
यत्कर्णभीमप्रभवैर्वध्यते नो बलं शरैः ॥१३॥
13. nūnaṁ pārthārthamevāsmānmohayanti divaukasaḥ ,
yatkarṇabhīmaprabhavairvadhyate no balaṁ śaraiḥ.
13. nūnam pārtha-artham eva asmān mohayanti divaukasaḥ
yat karṇa-bhīma-prabhavaiḥ vadhyate naḥ balam śaraiḥ
13. nūnam divaukasaḥ pārtha-artham eva asmān mohayanti,
yat naḥ balam karṇa-bhīma-prabhavaiḥ śaraiḥ vadhyate
13. Surely, the gods (divaukasa) are deluding us just for Arjuna's (pārtha) sake, because our army (balam) is being slain by arrows originating from both Karṇa and Bhīma.
