महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-87, verse-6

कृष्णसंमाननार्थं च नगरं समलंकृतम् ।
बभूवू राजमार्गाश्च बहुरत्नसमाचिताः ॥६॥
6. kṛṣṇasaṁmānanārthaṁ ca nagaraṁ samalaṁkṛtam ,
babhūvū rājamārgāśca bahuratnasamācitāḥ.

6. And for the purpose of honoring Kṛṣṇa, the city was well-decorated; the main streets, too, became adorned with many jewels.
