महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-56, verse-9

अहमिन्द्रस्य वचनात्संग्रामेऽभ्यहनं पुरा ।
पौलोमान्कालखञ्जांश्च सहस्राणि शतानि च ॥९॥
9. ahamindrasya vacanātsaṁgrāme'bhyahanaṁ purā ,
paulomānkālakhañjāṁśca sahasrāṇi śatāni ca.

paulomān kālakhañjān ca sahasrāṇi śatāni ca
9. By the command of Indra, I previously slew the Paulomas and the Kālakhañjas, thousands upon hundreds (of them), in battle.
