अथैनं पञ्चभिः पश्चात्प्रत्यविध्यत्स्तनान्तरे ।
सोऽपयातो रणं हित्वा पार्थबाणप्रपीडितः ॥२२॥

22. Then, after that, he (Arjuna) pierced him (Duḥśāsana) in the chest with five (arrows). Oppressed by Pārtha's (Arjuna's) arrows, he (Duḥśāsana) then retreated, abandoning the battle.
