महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-52, verse-14

तस्य निर्मुच्यमानस्य कवचात्काय आबभौ ।
समये मुच्यमानस्य सर्पस्येव तनुर्यथा ॥१४॥
14. tasya nirmucyamānasya kavacātkāya ābabhau ,
samaye mucyamānasya sarpasyeva tanuryathā.

samaye mucyamānasya sarpasya iva tanuḥ yathā
14. As his armor was being shed, his body shone forth, just like the skin of a serpent (sarpa) being shed in due season.
