महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-12, verse-26

एवं स सुबहून्मल्लान्पुरुषांश्च महाबलान् ।
विनिघ्नन्मत्स्यराजस्य प्रीतिमावहदुत्तमाम् ॥२६॥
26. evaṁ sa subahūnmallānpuruṣāṁśca mahābalān ,
vinighnanmatsyarājasya prītimāvahaduttamām.
26. evam sa subahūn mallān puruṣān ca mahābalān
vinighnan matsyarājasya prītim āvahat uttamām
26. In this way, by striking down very many powerful wrestlers and men, he brought the highest satisfaction to the King of Matsya.
