महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-12, verse-31

तस्मै प्रदेयं प्रायच्छत्प्रीतो राजा धनं बहु ।
विनीतान्वृषभान्दृष्ट्वा सहदेवस्य चाभिभो ॥३१॥
31. tasmai pradeyaṁ prāyacchatprīto rājā dhanaṁ bahu ,
vinītānvṛṣabhāndṛṣṭvā sahadevasya cābhibho.
31. tasmai pradeyam prāyacchat prītaḥ rājā dhanam bahu
| vinītān vṛṣabhān dṛṣṭvā sahadevasya ca abhibho
31. O chief (abhibho), the king, being pleased after seeing Sahadeva's well-trained bulls, gave him a great deal of wealth, which was due to be given (pradeyam).
