महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-12, verse-27

यदास्य तुल्यः पुरुषो न कश्चित्तत्र विद्यते ।
ततो व्याघ्रैश्च सिंहैश्च द्विरदैश्चाप्ययोधयत् ॥२७॥

27. When no man equal to him could be found there, he then fought with tigers, lions, and also elephants.
