महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-59, verse-4

तावेकवस्त्रसंवीतावटमानावितस्ततः ।
क्षुत्पिपासापरिश्रान्तौ सभां कांचिदुपेयतुः ॥४॥
4. tāvekavastrasaṁvītāvaṭamānāvitastataḥ ,
kṣutpipāsāpariśrāntau sabhāṁ kāṁcidupeyatuḥ.
4. tau ekavastrasaṃvītau aṭamānau itaḥ tataḥ
kṣutpipāsāpariśrāntau sabhām kāṃcit upeyatuḥ
4. Covered by a single garment, and wandering here and there, they both, exhausted by hunger and thirst, approached a certain assembly hall.
