महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-59, verse-23

द्विधेव हृदयं तस्य दुःखितस्याभवत्तदा ।
दोलेव मुहुरायाति याति चैव सभां मुहुः ॥२३॥

23. dvidheva hṛdayaṁ tasya duḥkhitasyābhavattadā ,
doleva muhurāyāti yāti caiva sabhāṁ muhuḥ.

23. dvidhā iva hṛdayaṃ tasya duḥkhitasya abhavat tadā
dolā iva muhuḥ āyāti yāti ca eva sabhāṃ muhuḥ

23. Then, his distressed heart became as if split in two. Like a swing, it repeatedly went to and came from the assembly hall.
