पापोऽयं नित्यसंदुष्टो न विमोक्षणमर्हति ।
प्रलब्धा धर्मराजस्य कृष्णायाश्च धनंजय ॥९॥

9. citrasena uvāca ,
pāpo'yaṁ nityasaṁduṣṭo na vimokṣaṇamarhati ,
pralabdhā dharmarājasya kṛṣṇāyāśca dhanaṁjaya.

Citrasena said: "This wicked man, always thoroughly evil, does not deserve release. O Dhanañjaya, deception (pralabdhā) has been committed against the King of Righteousness (Dharmarāja) and Draupadī (Kṛṣṇā)."
