महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-235, verse-21

मा स्म तात पुनः कार्षीरीदृशं साहसं क्वचित् ।
न हि साहसकर्तारः सुखमेधन्ति भारत ॥२१॥
21. mā sma tāta punaḥ kārṣīrīdṛśaṁ sāhasaṁ kvacit ,
na hi sāhasakartāraḥ sukhamedhanti bhārata.
21. mā sma tāta punas kārṣīḥ īdṛśam sāhasam kvacit
na hi sāhasakartāraḥ sukham edhanti bhārata
21. My dear one, do not ever again commit such a rash act. For, O descendant of Bharata, those who engage in rash deeds do not attain happiness and prosperity.
