महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-220, verse-7

मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
एवमुक्ता ततः स्वाहा तुष्टा स्कन्देन पूजिता ।
पावकेन समायुक्ता भर्त्रा स्कन्दमपूजयत् ॥७॥
7. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca ,
evamuktā tataḥ svāhā tuṣṭā skandena pūjitā ,
pāvakena samāyuktā bhartrā skandamapūjayat.

pūjitā pāvakena samāyuktā bhartrā skandam apūjayat
7. Mārkaṇḍeya said: 'Thus spoken to, Svāhā, pleased and honored by Skanda, became united with Agni (pāvaka), her husband, and then worshipped Skanda.'
