अग्निर्यस्तु शिवो नाम शक्तिपूजापरश्च सः ।
दुःखार्तानां स सर्वेषां शिवकृत्सततं शिवः ॥२॥

2. agniryastu śivo nāma śaktipūjāparaśca saḥ ,
duḥkhārtānāṁ sa sarveṣāṁ śivakṛtsatataṁ śivaḥ.

And that fire named Śiva, he is also devoted to the worship of divine power (śakti). He, the auspicious one, constantly brings well-being to all those afflicted by sorrow.
