महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-122, verse-21

अयाचदथ सैन्यार्थं प्राञ्जलिः पृथिवीपतिः ।
अज्ञानाद्बालया यत्ते कृतं तत्क्षन्तुमर्हसि ॥२१॥
21. ayācadatha sainyārthaṁ prāñjaliḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ ,
ajñānādbālayā yatte kṛtaṁ tatkṣantumarhasi.
21. ayācat atha sainyārtham prāñjaliḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ
ajñānāt bālayā yat te kṛtam tat kṣantum arhasi
21. Then the king (pṛthivīpati), with folded hands, pleaded on behalf of his army: 'Whatever was done by the young girl out of ignorance, you should forgive that.'
