महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-122, verse-11

तां पश्यमानो विजने स रेमे परमद्युतिः ।
क्षामकण्ठश्च ब्रह्मर्षिस्तपोबलसमन्वितः ।
तामाबभाषे कल्याणीं सा चास्य न शृणोति वै ॥११॥
11. tāṁ paśyamāno vijane sa reme paramadyutiḥ ,
kṣāmakaṇṭhaśca brahmarṣistapobalasamanvitaḥ ,
tāmābabhāṣe kalyāṇīṁ sā cāsya na śṛṇoti vai.

paramadyutiḥ kṣāmakaṇṭhaḥ ca brahmarṣiḥ
tapobalasamanvitaḥ tām ābabhāṣe
kalyāṇīm sā ca asya na śṛṇoti vai
11. Seeing her in that secluded place, that supremely radiant brahmin sage (brahmarṣi), whose neck was thin and who was endowed with the power of asceticism (tapas), delighted in her presence. He spoke to that auspicious lady, but she truly did not hear him.
