महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-122, verse-16

तमूचुः सैनिकाः सर्वे न विद्मोऽपकृतं वयम् ।
सर्वोपायैर्यथाकामं भवांस्तदधिगच्छतु ॥१६॥
16. tamūcuḥ sainikāḥ sarve na vidmo'pakṛtaṁ vayam ,
sarvopāyairyathākāmaṁ bhavāṁstadadhigacchatu.
16. tam ūcuḥ sainikāḥ sarve na vidmaḥ apakṛtam vayam
sarvopāyaiḥ yathākāmam bhavān tat adhigacchatu
16. All the soldiers said to him, 'We do not know what wrong was done. May your honor discover that by all possible means, as you wish.'
