महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-122, verse-1

लोमश उवाच ।
भृगोर्महर्षेः पुत्रोऽभूच्च्यवनो नाम भार्गवः ।
समीपे सरसः सोऽस्य तपस्तेपे महाद्युतिः ॥१॥
1. lomaśa uvāca ,
bhṛgormaharṣeḥ putro'bhūccyavano nāma bhārgavaḥ ,
samīpe sarasaḥ so'sya tapastepe mahādyutiḥ.
1. Lomaśaḥ uvāca bhṛgoḥ maharṣeḥ putraḥ abhūt cyavanaḥ nāma
bhārgavaḥ samīpe sarasaḥ saḥ asya tapaḥ tepe mahādyutiḥ
1. Lomaśa said: "The son of the great sage Bhrigu was a descendant of Bhrigu (bhārgavaḥ) named Cyavana. He, of great splendor (mahādyutiḥ), performed penance (tapas) near that lake."
