महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-49, verse-25

एवं दृष्ट्वा नाभिविन्दामि शर्म परीक्षमाणोऽपि कुरुप्रवीर ।
तेनाहमेवं कृशतां गतश्च विवर्णतां चैव सशोकतां च ॥२५॥
25. evaṁ dṛṣṭvā nābhivindāmi śarma; parīkṣamāṇo'pi kurupravīra ,
tenāhamevaṁ kṛśatāṁ gataśca; vivarṇatāṁ caiva saśokatāṁ ca.
25. evam dṛṣṭvā na abhivindāmi śarma
parīkṣamāṇaḥ api kurupravīra
tena aham evam kṛśatām gataḥ ca
vivarṇatām ca eva saśokatām ca
25. Seeing this, O foremost of Kurus (kuruprvīra), I find no peace, even after examining everything. Therefore, I have become emaciated, discolored, and overcome with sorrow.
