महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-24, verse-23

प्रागुत्तरां दिशं ये च वसन्त्याश्रित्य दस्यवः ।
निवसन्ति वने ये च तान्सर्वानजयत्प्रभुः ॥२३॥
23. prāguttarāṁ diśaṁ ye ca vasantyāśritya dasyavaḥ ,
nivasanti vane ye ca tānsarvānajayatprabhuḥ.
23. prāguttarām diśam ye ca vasanti āśritya dasyavaḥ
nivasanti vane ye ca tān sarvān ajayat prabhuḥ
23. The lord (prabhuḥ) conquered all those Dasyus who inhabit the north-eastern region, and also those who reside in the forest.
