महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-24, verse-14

विजित्य चाहवे शूरान्पार्वतीयान्महारथान् ।
ध्वजिन्या व्यजयद्राजन्पुरं पौरवरक्षितम् ॥१४॥
14. vijitya cāhave śūrānpārvatīyānmahārathān ,
dhvajinyā vyajayadrājanpuraṁ pauravarakṣitam.

14. O King, having conquered the brave and mighty mountain charioteers in battle, he then, with his army, vanquished the city which was protected by the Pauravas.
