महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-23, verse-9

दिशं धनपतेरिष्टामजयत्पाकशासनिः ।
भीमसेनस्तथा प्राचीं सहदेवस्तु दक्षिणाम् ॥९॥
9. diśaṁ dhanapateriṣṭāmajayatpākaśāsaniḥ ,
bhīmasenastathā prācīṁ sahadevastu dakṣiṇām.
9. diśam dhanapateḥ iṣṭām ajayat pākaśāsaniḥ
bhīmasenaḥ tathā prācīm sahadevaḥ tu dakṣiṇām
9. Arjuna (pākaśāsani), the son of Indra, conquered the direction favored by Kubera, the lord of wealth (the North). Similarly, Bhimasena conquered the eastern direction, and Sahadeva conquered the southern direction.
