महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-5, verse-9

तपश्चरिष्यामि निबोध तन्मे रामेण सार्धं वनमभ्युपेत्य ।
इतीदमुक्त्वा शिरसास्य पादौ संस्पृश्य कृष्णस्त्वरितो जगाम ॥९॥
9. tapaścariṣyāmi nibodha tanme; rāmeṇa sārdhaṁ vanamabhyupetya ,
itīdamuktvā śirasāsya pādau; saṁspṛśya kṛṣṇastvarito jagāma.
9. tapaḥ cariṣyāmi nibodha tat me
rāmeṇa sārdham vanam abhyupetya
iti idam uktvā śirasā asya pādau
saṃspṛśya kṛṣṇaḥ tvaritaḥ jagāma
9. kṛṣṇaḥ rāmeṇa sārdham vanam
abhyupetya iti idam uktvā tapaḥ
cariṣyāmi tat me nibodha śirasā asya
pādau saṃspṛśya tvaritaḥ jagāma
9. I will undertake spiritual austerities (tapas). Please understand this from me. Having gone to the forest with Rama, Krishna, after saying this and touching his (Rama's) feet with his head, quickly departed.
