महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-5, verse-19

स संनिरुद्धेन्द्रियवाङ्मनास्तु शिश्ये महायोगमुपेत्य कृष्णः ।
जराथ तं देशमुपाजगाम लुब्धस्तदानीं मृगलिप्सुरुग्रः ॥१९॥
19. sa saṁniruddhendriyavāṅmanāstu; śiśye mahāyogamupetya kṛṣṇaḥ ,
jarātha taṁ deśamupājagāma; lubdhastadānīṁ mṛgalipsurugraḥ.
19. sa saṃniruddha-indriya-vāk-manāḥ
tu śiśye mahā-yogam upetya kṛṣṇaḥ
| jarā atha tam deśam upājagāma
lubdhaḥ tadānīm mṛga-lipsuḥ ugraḥ
19. Kṛṣṇa, with his senses, speech, and mind completely restrained, lay down, having entered into a state of profound meditation (yoga). Then, the fierce hunter Jarā, who was at that time seeking game, came to that very spot.
