महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-5, verse-12

अथापश्यद्योगयुक्तस्य तस्य नागं मुखान्निःसरन्तं महान्तम् ।
श्वेतं ययौ स ततः प्रेक्ष्यमाणो महार्णवो येन महानुभावः ॥१२॥
12. athāpaśyadyogayuktasya tasya; nāgaṁ mukhānniḥsarantaṁ mahāntam ,
śvetaṁ yayau sa tataḥ prekṣyamāṇo; mahārṇavo yena mahānubhāvaḥ.
12. atha apaśyat yoga-yuktasya tasya
nāgam mukhāt niḥsarantam mahāntam
śvetam yayau saḥ tataḥ prekṣyamāṇaḥ
mahā-arṇavaḥ yena mahā-anubhāvaḥ

12. Then he (Keśava) saw a great, white serpent (nāga) emerging from the mouth of that one (Rama) who was engaged in spiritual discipline (yoga). The great-souled Keśava, (still) being watched, then went in the direction of the great ocean, following the path of the (serpent).
