महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-5, verse-6

ततो दृष्ट्वा निहतं बभ्रुमाह कृष्णो वाक्यं भ्रातरमग्रजं तु ।
इहैव त्वं मां प्रतीक्षस्व राम यावत्स्त्रियो ज्ञातिवशाः करोमि ॥६॥
6. tato dṛṣṭvā nihataṁ babhrumāha; kṛṣṇo vākyaṁ bhrātaramagrajaṁ tu ,
ihaiva tvaṁ māṁ pratīkṣasva rāma; yāvatstriyo jñātivaśāḥ karomi.
6. tataḥ dṛṣṭvā nihatam babhrum āha
kṛṣṇaḥ vākyam bhrātaram agrajam tu
| iha eva tvam mām pratīkṣasva rāma
yāvat striyaḥ jñāti-vaśāḥ karomi
6. Then, having seen Babhru slain, Kṛṣṇa spoke this statement to his elder brother: "Rāma, wait for me right here until I secure the women under the care of their kinsmen."
