महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-5, verse-4

ततो गते दारुके केशवोऽथ दृष्ट्वान्तिके बभ्रुमुवाच वाक्यम् ।
स्त्रियो भवान्रक्षतु यातु शीघ्रं नैता हिंस्युर्दस्यवो वित्तलोभात् ॥४॥
4. tato gate dāruke keśavo'tha; dṛṣṭvāntike babhrumuvāca vākyam ,
striyo bhavānrakṣatu yātu śīghraṁ; naitā hiṁsyurdasyavo vittalobhāt.
4. tataḥ gate dāruke keśavaḥ atha dṛṣṭvā
antike babhrum uvāca vākyam
striyaḥ bhavān rakṣatu yātu śīghram
na etāḥ hiṃsyuḥ dasyavaḥ vittalobhāt
4. Then, after Dāruka had left, Keśava (Krishna), seeing Babhru nearby, spoke these words: "You must protect the women; go quickly. Robbers might otherwise harm them out of greed for riches."
