महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-34, verse-7

ददर्श तत्र वेदीश्च संप्रज्वलितपावकाः ।
कृताभिषेकैर्मुनिभिर्हुताग्निभिरुपस्थिताः ॥७॥
7. dadarśa tatra vedīśca saṁprajvalitapāvakāḥ ,
kṛtābhiṣekairmunibhirhutāgnibhirupasthitāḥ.

7. There he saw altars with blazing fires, attended by sages who had performed ritual baths and offered oblations into the fire.
