महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-50, verse-23

निषादा ऊचुः ।
अज्ञानाद्यत्कृतं पापं प्रसादं तत्र नः कुरु ।
करवाम प्रियं किं ते तन्नो ब्रूहि महामुने ॥२३॥
23. niṣādā ūcuḥ ,
ajñānādyatkṛtaṁ pāpaṁ prasādaṁ tatra naḥ kuru ,
karavāma priyaṁ kiṁ te tanno brūhi mahāmune.
23. niṣādāḥ ūcuḥ ajñānāt yat kṛtam pāpam prasādam tatra
naḥ kuru karavāma priyam kim te tat naḥ brūhi mahāmune
23. mahāmune niṣādāḥ ūcuḥ ajñānāt yat pāpam kṛtam tatra
naḥ prasādam kuru te priyam kim karavāma tat naḥ brūhi
23. The Nishadas said, "Whatever sin we have committed due to ignorance, please show us grace regarding that. What pleasing service can we render to you? Please tell us that, O great sage."
