महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-140, verse-17

यजमानांस्तु तान्दृष्ट्वा व्यग्रान्दीक्षानुकर्शितान् ।
हन्तुमिच्छन्ति शैलाभाः खलिनो नाम दानवाः ॥१७॥
17. yajamānāṁstu tāndṛṣṭvā vyagrāndīkṣānukarśitān ,
hantumicchanti śailābhāḥ khalino nāma dānavāḥ.

शैल (śaila) आभाः (ābhāḥ) खलिनः (khalinaḥ) नाम (nāma) दानवाः (dānavāḥ) हन्तुम् (hantum) इच्छन्ति (icchanti).
17. But seeing those patrons of the Vedic ritual (yajamānān), who were distressed and emaciated by their vows (dīkṣā), the Dānavas named Khalinas, resembling mountains, desired to kill them.
