महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-113, verse-21

दानकृद्भिः कृतः पन्था येन यान्ति मनीषिणः ।
ते स्म प्राणस्य दातारस्तेभ्यो धर्मः सनातनः ॥२१॥
21. dānakṛdbhiḥ kṛtaḥ panthā yena yānti manīṣiṇaḥ ,
te sma prāṇasya dātārastebhyo dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ.

21. The path created by generous givers is the one by which the wise proceed. They are indeed the givers of life, and for them, the intrinsic nature (dharma) is eternal.
