महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-317, verse-18

दुःखमर्था हि त्यज्यन्ते पालने न च ते सुखाः ।
दुःखेन चाधिगम्यन्ते नाशमेषां न चिन्तयेत् ॥१८॥
18. duḥkhamarthā hi tyajyante pālane na ca te sukhāḥ ,
duḥkhena cādhigamyante nāśameṣāṁ na cintayet.
