कृष्णपक्षे पिबन्त्येके भुञ्जते च यथाक्रमम् ।
मूलैरेके फलैरेके पुष्पैरेके दृढव्रताः ॥१३॥

13. Others drink (it) during the dark fortnight, and they eat in due order. Some, firm in their vows, subsist on roots, others on fruits, and yet others on flowers.
