महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-228, verse-36

अलोलुपोऽव्यथो दान्तो न कृती न निराकृतिः ।
नास्येन्द्रियमनेकाग्रं नातिक्षिप्तमनोरथः ।
अहिंस्रः सर्वभूतानामीदृक्सांख्यो विमुच्यते ॥३६॥
36. alolupo'vyatho dānto na kṛtī na nirākṛtiḥ ,
nāsyendriyamanekāgraṁ nātikṣiptamanorathaḥ ,
ahiṁsraḥ sarvabhūtānāmīdṛksāṁkhyo vimucyate.

nirākṛtiḥ na asya indriyam anekāgram
na atikṣiptamanorathaḥ ahiṃsraḥ

36. He is not greedy, free from anxiety, and self-controlled. He is neither overly active nor completely inactive. His senses are not scattered, nor are his desires excessively projected. Such a follower of Sāṃkhya, harmless to all beings, attains liberation (mokṣa).
