महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-216, verse-24

बलिरुवाच ।
न त्वं पश्यसि भृङ्गारं न छत्रं व्यजनं न च ।
ब्रह्मदत्तां च मे मालां न त्वं द्रक्ष्यसि वासव ॥२४॥
24. baliruvāca ,
na tvaṁ paśyasi bhṛṅgāraṁ na chatraṁ vyajanaṁ na ca ,
brahmadattāṁ ca me mālāṁ na tvaṁ drakṣyasi vāsava.
24. baliḥ uvāca na tvam paśyasi bhṛṅgāram na chatram vyajanam
na ca brahmadattām ca me mālām na tvam drakṣyasi vāsava
24. baliḥ uvāca tvam bhṛṅgāram na paśyasi chatram na vyajanam
ca na tvam me brahmadattām mālām ca na drakṣyasi vāsava
24. Bali said: 'You do not see the golden pitcher, nor the umbrella, nor the fan. And you will not see my garland bestowed by Brahmā, O Vāsava.'
