महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-166, verse-5

ततोऽन्यस्मिन्गते चाह्नि विरूपाक्षोऽब्रवीत्सुतम् ।
न प्रेक्षे राजधर्माणमद्य पुत्र खगोत्तमम् ॥५॥
5. tato'nyasmingate cāhni virūpākṣo'bravītsutam ,
na prekṣe rājadharmāṇamadya putra khagottamam.
5. tataḥ anyasmin gate ca ahni virūpākṣaḥ abravīt
sutam na prekṣe rājadharmāṇam adya putra khagottamam
5. tataḥ anyasmin ahni gate ca virūpākṣaḥ sutam abravīt
putra adya rājadharmāṇam khagottamam na prekṣe
5. Then, on the following day, Virūpākṣa spoke to his son: 'My son, today I do not see that best among birds who embodies the intrinsic nature (dharma) of a king.'
