महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-166, verse-16

सस्त्रीकुमारं च पुरं बभूवास्वस्थमानसम् ।
अथाब्रवीन्नृपः पुत्रं पापोऽयं वध्यतामिति ॥१६॥
16. sastrīkumāraṁ ca puraṁ babhūvāsvasthamānasam ,
athābravīnnṛpaḥ putraṁ pāpo'yaṁ vadhyatāmiti.
16. sastrīkumāram ca puram babhūva asvasthamānasam
atha abravīt nṛpaḥ putram pāpaḥ ayam vadhyatām iti
16. ca sastrīkumāram puram asvasthamānasam babhūva atha
nṛpaḥ putram abravīt "ayam pāpaḥ vadhyatām" iti
16. And the city, along with its women and children, became distressed in mind. Then the king said to his son, "This wicked one should be killed!"
