इत्युक्ता राक्षसेन्द्रेण राक्षसा घोरविक्रमाः ।

Thus addressed by the lord of Rākṣasas, those Rākṣasas of terrible prowess did not wish to devour him, saying, "Indeed, this one is a perpetrator of wicked deeds (karma)."
