महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-24, verse-1

गान्धार्युवाच ।
सोमदत्तसुतं पश्य युयुधानेन पातितम् ।
वितुद्यमानं विहगैर्बहुभिर्माधवान्तिके ॥१॥
1. gāndhāryuvāca ,
somadattasutaṁ paśya yuyudhānena pātitam ,
vitudyamānaṁ vihagairbahubhirmādhavāntike.

pātitam vitudyamānam vihagaiḥ bahubhiḥ mādhavāntike
1. gāndhārī uvāca: "paśya somadattasutam,
yuyudhānena pātitam,
bahubhiḥ vihagaiḥ mādhavāntike vitudyamānam (tam).

1. Gandhārī spoke: 'Behold Somadatta's son, struck down by Yuyudhāna (Sātyaki), and now being pecked at by many birds near Mādhava (Kṛṣṇa).'
