महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-17, verse-29

पुण्डरीकनिभा भाति पुण्डरीकान्तरप्रभा ।
मुखं विमृज्य पुत्रस्य भर्तुश्चैव तपस्विनी ॥२९॥
29. puṇḍarīkanibhā bhāti puṇḍarīkāntaraprabhā ,
mukhaṁ vimṛjya putrasya bhartuścaiva tapasvinī.

29. The pitiable woman, whose appearance is lotus-like and whose brilliance is like the inner part of a lotus, wipes the faces of her son and her husband.
