महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-36, verse-16

तमभिद्रुत्य वेगेन स राजा संशितव्रतम् ।
अपृच्छद्धनुरुद्यम्य तं मुनिं क्षुच्छ्रमान्वितः ॥१६॥
16. tamabhidrutya vegena sa rājā saṁśitavratam ,
apṛcchaddhanurudyamya taṁ muniṁ kṣucchramānvitaḥ.
16. tam abhidrutya vegena sa rājā saṃśitavratam
apṛcchat dhanuḥ udyamya tam munim kṣut śramaanvitaḥ
16. That king, overcome by hunger and fatigue, swiftly approached that sage of austere vows, and raising his bow, questioned him.
