महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-36, verse-1

शौनक उवाच ।
जरत्कारुरिति प्रोक्तं यत्त्वया सूतनन्दन ।
इच्छाम्येतदहं तस्य ऋषेः श्रोतुं महात्मनः ॥१॥
1. śaunaka uvāca ,
jaratkāruriti proktaṁ yattvayā sūtanandana ,
icchāmyetadahaṁ tasya ṛṣeḥ śrotuṁ mahātmanaḥ.
1. śaunakaḥ uvāca jaratkāruḥ iti proktaṃ yat tvayā
sūtanandana icchāmi etat ahaṃ tasya ṛṣeḥ śrotuṃ mahātmanaḥ
1. Śaunaka said: O son of Sūta, I desire to hear more about this Jaratkāru, that great-souled sage, whom you have mentioned.
