महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-36, verse-23

सख्योक्तः क्रीडमानेन स तत्र हसता किल ।
संरम्भी कोपनोऽतीव विषकल्प ऋषेः सुतः ।
ऋषिपुत्रेण नर्मार्थं कृशेन द्विजसत्तम ॥२३॥
23. sakhyoktaḥ krīḍamānena sa tatra hasatā kila ,
saṁrambhī kopano'tīva viṣakalpa ṛṣeḥ sutaḥ ,
ṛṣiputreṇa narmārthaṁ kṛśena dvijasattama.

23. O best among Brahmins, the sage's son (Śṛṅgin) – who was known to be very wrathful, exceedingly prone to anger, and venomous – was indeed playing there when he was addressed by his laughing friend, Kṛśa, another sage's son, purely for a jest.
