महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-211, verse-5

अलंकृताः कुमाराश्च वृष्णीनां सुमहौजसः ।
यानैर्हाटकचित्राङ्गैश्चञ्चूर्यन्ते स्म सर्वशः ॥५॥
5. alaṁkṛtāḥ kumārāśca vṛṣṇīnāṁ sumahaujasaḥ ,
yānairhāṭakacitrāṅgaiścañcūryante sma sarvaśaḥ.
5. alaṅkṛtāḥ kumārāḥ ca vṛṣṇīnām su-mahaujasaḥ
yānaiḥ hāṭakacitrāṅgaiḥ cañcūryante sma sarvaśaḥ
5. And the greatly powerful princes of the Vṛṣṇis, who were splendidly adorned, traveled around everywhere in vehicles whose parts were ornamented with gold.
