योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-48, verse-4

भाराय पान्थदृष्ट्येव दृश्यन्ते दारबन्धवः ।
यथाशक्ति यथाकालमुपचर्यन्त एव च ॥ ४ ॥

4. From the perspective of a traveler, wives and relatives appear as a burden. Yet, they are indeed attended to and cared for according to one's capacity and the appropriate time.

4. אשתו וקרוביו נתפסים בעיניו כמשא, ממש כפי שמטייל רואה את מטענו, אך הוא מוסיף לדאוג להם כמיטב יכולתו ובזמן המתוודע.
