योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-48, verse-37

भ्रमन्मनःपिशाचेऽस्मिन्कल्लोलजलदाकुले ।
संसाररात्रितिमिरे स्वात्मैवापूर्णचन्द्रमाः ॥ ३७ ॥

37. Within this mind, which is like a wandering demon (manaḥpiśāca) agitated by surging waves and clouds, and within the darkness of the night of worldly existence (saṃsāra), one's own self (ātman) is indeed an incomplete moon.
