That entire assembly of gods, accompanied by the lord of the thirty (Indra), instantly became completely invisible there, leaving no trace. This was like the disappearance of the multitude of shimmering crocodiles, foam, and great serpents—which appear as a mass of waves—when the wind calms in a tranquil ocean.
