योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-85, verse-27

पङ्कपल्वललीलान्ते वने कलभको यथा ।
तत्र स्नात्वा जपं कृत्वा पूजयित्वा दिवाकरम् ।
मनोभूषितया तन्वा पूर्ववत्पुनराबभौ ॥ २७ ॥

tatra snātvā japaṃ kṛtvā pūjayitvā divākaram ,
manobhūṣitayā tanvā pūrvavatpunarābabhau 27
27. paṅkapalvalalīlānte vane kalabhakaḥ
yathā tatra snātvā japam kṛtvā
pūjayitvā divākaram manobhūṣitayā

27. (saḥ) punaḥ pūrvavat manobhūṣitayā tanvā ābabhau; yathā kalabhakaḥ paṅkapalvalalīlānte vane,
tatra snātvā japam kṛtvā divākaram pūjayitvā.
27. Just as a young elephant (kalabhaka) might appear in a forest after playing in muddy ponds, so too, after bathing there, performing silent recitation (japa), and worshipping the sun, he shone forth again as before, with his body graced by his mind.
