योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-42, verse-24

प्रसादादात्मनो विष्णोर्मायेयमतिभासुरा ।
प्रबाधते न धीरांस्तु यक्षी मन्त्रवतो यथा ॥ २४ ॥
prasādādātmano viṣṇormāyeyamatibhāsurā ,
prabādhate na dhīrāṃstu yakṣī mantravato yathā 24
24. prasādāt ātmanaḥ viṣṇoḥ māyā iyam atibhāsurā
prabādhate na dhīrān tu yakṣī mantravataḥ yathā
24. ātmanaḥ viṣṇoḥ prasādāt iyam atibhāsurā māyā

24. By the grace of the Self (ātman) that is Vishnu, this exceedingly brilliant cosmic illusion (māyā) does not torment the wise, just as a female demon (yakṣī) does not torment those who possess sacred formulas (mantra).
